After a shaky start to December and a sharp leverage flush across the crypto market, digital asset treasury stocks staged a notable recovery on Tuesday, with Ethereum-focused companies leading the rebound and posting gains of more than 12%.
Among the top performers, Nasdaq-listed EthZilla jumped 12.35% to $10.80 in after-hours trading. BitMine — the world’s largest Ether treasury, which reportedly bought the dip earlier this week — also recorded a strong 10.26% increase, with its stock reaching $32.40 after hours. Since announcing its Ether strategy in June, BitMine shares have surged over 650%.
The best-performing crypto stock of the day, however, was Thumzup Media, a mining and crypto investment company that gained 13.25% on the Nasdaq. Several altcoin treasury stocks also outperformed Bitcoin-focused companies during the rebound. GD Culture, known for holding TRUMP memecoins, rose 11.4%, while Solana treasury HSDT climbed 9.36%.
Meanwhile, the largest Bitcoin treasury firm, Michael Saylor’s Strategy, saw a more modest recovery with a 5.78% gain on Tuesday. The company’s stock remains down more than 37% since the beginning of the year, following significant declines since mid-October.
Reports also indicate that BitMine continued its “buying the dip” approach this week, accumulating over 25,000 ETH across Monday and Tuesday — though these purchases have not been officially confirmed. Alongside these movements, Ether prices rebounded to a five-day high near $3,060 on Wednesday morning.
